Positional Yoga Therapy
Positional therapy uses stretching and release techniques from physical therapy and yoga to treat places in our bodies that are sore or painful due to chronic muscle imbalance, or recent injury from sports or accident. No experience in yoga is necessary to apply these techniques to help you overcome tight or sore areas.
It can be used to treat something as specific as a sore wrist or foot, or as general as problems in the spine from the lower back to the neck.
Positional therapy emphasizes awareness of various posture habits that contribute to our imbalances. Things we do when standing, sitting at a desk working, or driving a car can all play a major role in causing our body to hurt or be out of balance.
In just minutes a day, without strain or pain, you will be able to relieve painful places in your bodies using these simple and safe techniques.
